  2. Hmm, think maybe its going to have to wait until i get a bigger bike and a proper licence . ... right, maybe a two week tour of the british coast then...

i will admit, i also do that... best part is when the sun is out and you get all those mid-life crisis pricks out in their BMW convertables, one sharp downward pull on the wingmirror and you can leisurely pass it back to them through the open window or chuck it on the back seat if the ragtop is down, before filtering away through the traffic jam another good one is when the White Van Man decides to pull a stunt and almost take me off, at the next traffic light, get as close as you can and write as much profanity as you can on the back door before riding off again. The ringroad is my playpen

chain and sprockets, wheel bearings, wheel tread, shocks (check for pitting, leaks e.t.c), check calipers for leaks, brakes are functioning, the electricals are working, as long as your bike is in pretty good shape you should be fine

Hello/Ayeup/Mornin' - short, swift nod, not always administered to learners and/or scooter riders. Police Nearby - Opening/Closing hand on top of helmet, symoblising a revolving light Your ride is laughable! - Head tilted backwards and pointed at the offending rider.

ive used busters a lot in the past and their shipping charges are good aslong as you order in bulk (set of handguards, leathr jacket, two tyres and some other stuff posted for £4.95), but if you are just buying a spark plug or something small then £4.95 is a bit OTT for posting. always pays to have a good nosey through the clearence bin at Busters though, picked up my Tuzo leather jacket for £50, reduced from £130 have added tytrials to my favourites and will use them in future

    - Engines last for as long as you maintain them, my DT was on its original bore with 23,000 miles on the clock with only a new set of rings before i decided to put a big bore kit on - Servicing can be done annually, on the newer engines people may choose to do it every 6 months, this may include changing the oil and filters and a general check

never had a prom when i left primary, didnt really seem worried about it at the time either. can't wait until my prom when i leave secondary though, still a few months away but i better start organising something...
  17. will have to check my policy details, i know they are here somewere... ive decided just to take a 58 litre holdall, this can easily fit half a dozen changes of shirts, jeans, socks e.t.c aswell as my maps, camras, Hexamine stover and most other bits and pieces. it also fits neatly on the back seat by means of bungee cords. i already have a small toolkit, consisting of a pair of small molegrips, a plug spanner a nd a couple of normal spanners, this is stowed away in one of the sidepanels on my DT , have been looking into the Gelert Solo tents and i suspect that is what i will get nearer the time. worked out all the distances on my 'puter... 630 miles (roughly) traveling around R.O.I and 200 miles each way from Liverpool to my hometown of Newbury, Ferries £95 return from Liverpool to Dublin

would be nice to go to the TT, but i dont think my DT would make it around the whole circuit and i would probably end up spread across the road...

  21. Haha!, good one OG, made me larf... LOL
  22. Selector fork is a good place to start, if that is bent or broken then that would be your problem. failing that, could be the gearbox drum or any number of other internal components, not personally familiar with your bike so can't really help you otherwise m8
