Did a plug chop and the plug is chocaltey brown with a bit of carbon buildup on the spark plug, so it looks to be running about right... My mate managed to smash up his Suzuki RMX50 on sunday (chav pulled out infront of him without looking) so now ive got the fastest bike in newbury

  7. hi everyone. i recall seeing a reply (probably in one of my threads regarding rechroming) which mentions filling the pits in forks with araldite and then smoothing it off using fine grades of sandpaper... ... does this actually work?, im quite tempted to try it out on my jawa forks to get it into running condition before i spend any more money on it.

hi everyone. been having some overheating issues with my DT, its running a cone style air filter, BigOne exhaust, racing reeds and a 60cc bore kit on the original 50cc head, increased the oil pump flow rate and the carb is running a 115# main jet, but over long distances (well, anything much over 15-20 miles or running for more than 30 minutes/1 hour) the power will suddenly fade and eventually the engine cuts, it doesnt seise but the heat can be felt (and smelt) when you are sat on the bike. whats causing it to overheat and how can i fix the problem?, regards Steve-o
  17. thats such a nice bike, im sure that big front fairing will make a bit warmer in winter... ... if only i had the cash to bid

you sure it was the right pad?, when i bought mine they had a few dozen to choose form at £10 a pop, and it fits my little 50 absolutely fine http://www.busters-accessories.co.uk/produ...amp;kw=tank+pad ive got the "Model Front"

i got mine for £10 from busters, "Keiti Additions" specifically a R125 one you want?, i bought a blue one to match the colour of my bike, and because it has tits on it, and when you're my age having a nekkid chick on your fuel tank adds so much to your streetcred

maybe ask specifically for that part?, perhaps at a scrap yard?. worst comes to worse buy a trashed engine or bike, scavenge what you need and sell it on for scrap
  23. Oooooh, Goff is gonna nail you to the wall boyo... *puts a collander over his head and dives behind a table*

ive been walking to school for the last week or so due to lack of petrol money, but today after i got home i just had to give the DT a blast through the green lanes, it was already on reserve so now it must be running on vapour this is proper riding, this
  25. theres a difference to it being original, and being functional its a very nice example of a DT and no doubt will give you years of faithfull service My little DT has lots of aftermarket parts, most of them just to make it more comfortable/easy to ride.
