well im in no rush to get them done, im trying to find a job so i can get enough money to get them done, will take me a while to get it done as my income is about a fiver a week :\ selling all my wordly possessions, my guitars *sob* my pushbike, anything i can pawn of for a few extra quid will be worth it when i finally get it done though, ive taken it around the block a few times and absolutely love it, much smoother than my DT

you would need the ECU/CDI for that specific engine, and wiring in to the Fazers wiring loom would be difficult so you may want to try and get an R6/Thunderace wiring loom im not sure if they do have the same mounting points so thats something you need to make sure of

for anyone still interested in this video it is a Jawa 638/639, not a 640 like mine because it has a single round headlamp, no front fairing, drum brakes, a flat tank, less shaped fairings and straight chrome pipes (mines has spannies ) i've been doing my research on these slovak beasties , funniest bit was seeing his mate get thrown off the back and end up on his ass XD

therein lies the problem, i can't find anywhere local that will rechrome them!, nearest place ive found is Philpots in Luton, quoted £145 for the pair which is a bit more than others and too far to go ... this may be a bit off-topic, but would i be able to fit a set of 36mm stanchions of the same length from a different bike?...

1 tooth on the front is worth 2 or 3 on the rear sprocket, maybe go for an 18t front sprocket or down 2 or 3 teeth on the rear and see how you get on -
even better, take a wander around town at night, preferably around the pubs and pizza places, its amazing what you find on park benches at midnight in newbury!, who buys a perfectly good spicy chicken pizza and then leaves half of it in the box on a bench? when you're out with your mates late at night with no money for food, things like that are a godsend , still have a pot of dip aswell (unused)
