okay peeps, another question for ya... my DT is now running great, albeit a little rich in the mid-rev range but that doesnt bother me much. anyhoo, if you let go of the throttle and then pull it open again, the engine will respond for a split second, then die for a second and then fire as usual, and it also tends to bog down off the line (often requiring a slip of the clutch to allow it to clear before departing) it also dies if i take a speed bump with too much speed or going up a steep hill and when your riding out with your mates, its kinda a pain in the ass is this related to the mid-range rich running or a completely different problem?, maybe floats too high?

the original robin engines were only about 900cc anyway, so a 1000cc shouldnt be too bad

not familiar with your bike, but on my DT its a case of undoing 3 allen screws to get the side cover off, letting the oil drain out of the clutch compartment and undoing 4 bolts to get to the clutch plates. on your bike the process would probably be similar albeit you will have more clutch plates (my DT has 2, but the Jawa has 5)

if you cant hear any crunching/grinding sounds coming from the gearbox indicating a shredded gear, my guess would be on the clutch, it may be time to strip it down and check the plates over

sorry to hear about the CZ mate, those things usually go on forever... (dont s'pose your willing to part with the forks?, not sure if they would fit my 640 though...) as mentioned above, make sure the WK isnt being pushed up at the back, i remember having this problem getting the flywheel onto one of my model aircraft, took a few goes to get it right.

i use JTsprockets, look them up on google as they have a diagram, and a list of sizes available for that bike, not sure if you can order online though but i order mine through my yamaha dealer

looks nice, keep us posted on how it goes are the Secas US only bikes or are they in the UK market aswell?
