  1. Yeah that's ^^^^ what av been trying to explain. Just gonna get some straight bars for comfort and if it makes a difference to the turning circle its a bonus.

Dont smoke. Dont know what a gas station is and maps are shit. Guapa!
  3. Sorry must have not explained properly, my u-turns are ok its just seems the tanks is stopping the bars in full lock hence straight bars might able me to turn the wheel further round if you ken what i mean. Please tell me more about this back break bumpy judder technique? I need a better turn, as you know lots of country roads around here and when am dropping my mates off home in the massive country homes we all live in up here i need to turn the bike on the lane outside the house and i look like a tit doing the 3 point turn thing on a bike!!

After a few of you recommend this book to me i got it 9 quid from amazon. I thought i knew very little about a biking, only being on the road 11month, after reading 78 pages of this book i now think i knew nothing. Cant recommend it enough. Cheers who told me about it in the first place (cant mine who, sorry) Regards Kev.
  5. Why did i have to do a U-turn in my test.....? My Tcat could not do one on the freeways of LA. I know this is the same for most sporty bikes but would them riser/straight bars they have on streetfighters give me a smaller circle? I was thinking about getting them for comfort anyway. Can you fit em? Easy job? I welcome the knowledge.

Tom Tom Rider is a rip off i think. Thinking about putting some sort of clear plastic bag or similar over the normal one to protect it from the elements. Think it will work? www.keysafe.co.uk/cigarette_socket_lead_2pin_plug_optsocket2_8365 www.keysafe.co.uk/optimate_iii_accumate_weatherproof_eyelet_lead_acclead2_8369 Will this combo work or will it drain my battery when am not riding?

Can you hook one of the in-car cigarette lighter things to your battery on your bike? My batt life in my tomtom is only a few hours and i would like to be able to keep up and running for longer, also think it will be good for other things phone charger and so on. Anyone done it? expensive? Cheers Kev

This is an old old topic lads. Dont know who brought it back up. Never got the wee gits who did it, police never got back to me. Cost me about 70 quid to fix int the end i think. Just sold the DT for 1200 sterlings and got a 96' Cat with 21000 miles on it for 900 sterlings off one of my mates. 300 to insure fully comp so the DT covered the lot. I am missing the DT already to be honest, what a bike.

I done mine a few weeks ago and its a bit of a waste if time, well the hazard perception bit is anyway. But you got to do it i suppose. Buy the DVD for around a tenner that has everything in it, its not the official one but its well better and has more in it. The DSA ones are an utter rip off. And practice over and over again till you feel sick. At the end of it i knew the answer to just about all the m/choice questions just cause i had done them while practicing. Got 49/50 (pass 43) . The HP part of the test is a load of shite but its total easy the is marked out of 75 (pass 44) i got 62 but i was robbed 5 marks for clicking in a rhythmical manner. BULLSHITE!!. You get 14 one min clips(i think) and each has one main hazard (one clip has 2 to keep you on ur toes) And you get 5 points per clip if you click as soon as the main hazard appears to the naked eye then 4 3 2 1 until its 2 late to do anything about it then you get no points. In the DVD it takes you all through it and shows you replays of the clip and when you clicked. The only problems you might have with it is seeing the hazard too early and clicking cause you have been on the road for a while so give it a triple whammy of clicks when you see them. Oh and don't click way2much or2rapid of a big white screen comes up with a red X and you get nea points. After you finish they give you a bit of paper with a breakdown on it and say nothing not ever well done (but i bet they are thinking thanks for the 30 odd quid..... scum.

HONDA CBR600F-L 16 OWNERS(FEK ME!) 1 COLOUR CHANGE NOT STOLEN NOT SCRAPPED WE HAVE NO RECORD OF H70**** BEING SUBJECT TO A TOTAL LOSS CLAIM BY INSURERS Some dude at a garage told me to try and get a 1991 model cause they total done up the engine and fairings...this true? I don't think i will get a cleaner looking bike for that money around here though. He is throwing in the luggage and some bits and bobs.

Was gonna go see it today bit its total pishing it down so am going tomorrow (probably ice by then!). That a 1990 CBR? Looks brill. They good on the m/way how much miles to the tank? Fuel gauge? Will be making a trip to Weybridge near(ish) London from Dumfries once a month and i was wondering if it could do the job? I know a proper tourer would be better but i think the CBR ticks all the right boxes.
