  1. Check your battery and charging circuits first. If it isnt putting out enough power doesent matter what you connect it to. Has it ever been ok. If so you may need a new battery. Also. Introduce yourself to the forum. We dont have many rules like a lot of forums but without an introduction mine is prob the only reply you will get.
  2. I think it is one of the sillier things but with most of traffic policing done by anpr. Any plate that is tricky to read makes you a target.
  3. I do seem to recall having lights, horn, easy starting, good idle, a battery that was fine and a bike able to do the rideout last year.......... Awful lot of ribing for a bulb. I have time..........plenty of time......

  6. Cos nobbers dont nickem and gypos dont want em for tarmacing. My 4.6 range rover is cheaper to insure than our 1500nissan almera. By about 50 quid. Only 2 years between them in age.

  10. If the battery has dropped to dead flat its already much weaker. Bike ele tricals have very little spare as excess uses hp. Maybe fit a timer. although that will take juice.

  12. looking for a second exhaust. Best of. There are pattern ones by Big One but they are in the later front expansion chamber type. Pick a bodypart for an oe system in good nick.
  13. Make sure the 2 stroke is for motorcycles. Some of the forecourt stuff is for chainsaws and generators. Anything dot4 for the brakes Coolant has to be ok for aluminium. Thats it. Personally and it was surprising Halfrauds semi synth bike 2stroke is pretty good.
  14. Spend it on a rider training day. Make you much quicker than that will.
  15. Good news on the pass. Feel your pain on the wifey wants. I have a 8by 18' patch of , well mess tbh and she wants a feature making of it. She wont accept a 8 by 18 shed as a feature. Go figure?
  16. Think about it for a moment. The mirrors are limited by the width of the bars. Your hands will be holding said bars. Well should be. The mirrors will show you your elbows. Bikes where you sit upright like my TDR will be better because your position is different. It has been like it forever.
  17. Sentimental. nah not me. I have had the dt for 26years and wanted a TDR 250 for as long. Nah not sentimental. I only breifly owned a 600 suzuki.... for 12 years.....
  18. Same here. She will do 70 but 7krpm is my normal max. I think the 2 compare on top speed. The extra cc counts for plugging the muddy lanes not tarmac tearing.
  19. Nah wont need that. Save the luggage space im sure Kev will have an organ you can blow.......
  20. Just use grease to stick it in. It will melt away soon as the engine runs. So wont affect things when you give em a nip once their warm.
  21. Should be ok. It lives a pretty gentle life tbh and I do fuss over it and go ott on repairs. Still never 100 per cent certain though......
