DT125RE WONT START
Dont give up on it, its probably something really minor and stupid. It looks like its a electric fault right? Is the battery holding a charge? Maybe try jumping it from a car? If that doesnt work go through the wiring loom to make sure there are no corroded connections and give it a bit of wd40 as this can sometimes work its magic. Might even be a dodgey earth? Piece of piss to fix if it is and would stop it from sparking. Keep going dude!

enduros under 33bhp?
Out of interest what KTM does he have and what age? KTM parts over here tend to be reasonable because they are a European brand. Iv not heard anything bad about the recent models though, although the RFS engine is pretty solid and should go on for 'ever'

enduros under 33bhp?
CRM 250 could be another contender? The mach 3 or AR are the ones to go for imo

New style MOT
They probably do but im just saying as i know most people wont bother checking it. To be honest i hadnt seen this new type before my recent mot so i wouldnt have had a clue what i was looking at if i were buying a new bike, as you say always check it up online.

Cleaning Products - what do you use?
Thats basically the reason i rearely buy it anymore, just too expensive. I normally just jet wash it with some car shampoo unless theres some really stubborn greasy bits that wont budge, does the job.

You Tube
As andy said, make sure the file youre uploading isnt like 10000gb or an avi as avi's are un compressed and will generally take a lfe time. You can do an internet speed test free online to see your download/upload speeds, i think on upload 1mbps is about average now days.

New style MOT
I was told to be carful when buying a new bike as people are either ripping off the advisory side or photo copying the whole sheet with a piece of a4 blanking off that half of the page. I muh prefered the older one.

enduros under 33bhp?
Thats interesting, i know people who own 525s and have well over 15k on the clock yet when they checked the barrel and piston for a renewal they were still like new. Admitedly a 2 stroke will need more top ends but the modern 4 strokes they make seem pretty decent to me. They cant be that bad as most people who ride off road seem to have one (only annoying thing imo). Compare the prices of 2nd hand wr 450s to a ktm, its ridiculous how much more the Yams fetch when they arnt better at all. I agree, i wish the jap manufacturers still invested in 2 strokes.

enduros under 33bhp?
KTM's dont go wrong unless you dont look after it. Admittedly pre 2001 ktms and gasers are to be avoided, especially 4 strokes. Id still much prefer a european enduro bike over a jap, they dominate the competition throughout europe too, i wouldnt say the jap bike needs less mantenance either, id imagine them to be similar unless its the wr250r and not the f? I still stand by jap parts being dearer than ktm. Yes a drz is a bit of a pig but will go on for ever with barely no mantenance compared to an out an out enduro bike but would be just as much fun if you decided to go green laning as it wouldnt be as snappy.

enduros under 33bhp?
drz-e? Could be worth looking at and may be around 33bhp, best of both worlds. Good on the trails but with the enduro spec cam and few other bits. I would have thought the wr250f would be similar power to the ktm 250excf? Id prefer the KTM tbh, cheaper parts and cheaper to buy in the first place! Jap enduro bikes seem too pricey to me.

WR Ally swing arms
I still wouldnt bother if its just for green laning, maybe if you started racing. Id save the money and put it towards something else, you may just ruin the balance of the bike.

WR Ally swing arms
Out of interest, why?

enduros under 33bhp?
If your are going to race enduros then a dt will be no good. A wr250f would be good to get you going or if its to be a 2 stroker then maybe the ktm 125exc or husqvarna 125, both are great bikes but arnt really designed for the road and would need regular maintenance. Id probably go for a 250 4 stroke tbh, just because they should eb that bit more reliable. There is a power to weight ratio allowance but im not sure what it is, i used to know someone who used to ride around on the ktm 125 and never had any trouble.

YZF R1 3 Cylinder total loss of compression
I know the cam chain tensioner is common across the r1 and r6 range, i had to replace one on my bike recently as it was on its way out.

YZF R1 3 Cylinder total loss of compression
Loud clicking from right hand side... sounds like your cam chain tensioners had it and may have resulted in a bent valve as the timings gone off =(
