DT125R 2001 Wheres The Coolant Tank ???
On my DT the 2 stroke oil tank was behind the back left side panel. The coolant tank was a little top up bottle behind the back right one near the exhaust... I would have thought yours would be the same, mine was a 2005 model and an re.

What to do about a split in a downpipe?
I dont think the DEP will take well to welding, i had an aftermarket exhaust welded once and was told the metal was too thin and the welder just put another hole in when trying to patch it up because the metal was too corroded? IMO save your time and dont bother trying to repair it as it will most likely split again in the same place.

Yamaha DT125R 06 - HOW DO I MAKE IT FASTER?
I had the RE version so no fancy big wavy disc on the front to stop me, just as you said a naf brake and knobblies which just like to skid on tarmac...

Why do people buy new 125's
I think if i were going to go back to a 125 it would have to be a classic as theres nothing else to draw me towards them, would have to be something like an RD or TZR.

De Restricting my DT125R
Main reason i kept stock bars as they wasnt bent and i wasnt sure on what bend of bar id like as i didnt have any way of trying any out @OG, arnt you going to bother with the DEP header? I felt it made a huge difference, how about a tail tidy and some nicer indicators??

Stater motor issues DT125RE
I sort of wish i had a kicker on my DT, although it was really reliable and didnt fail ever. The CCM on the other hand... Wouldnt mind a kicker on that! electrics are crap but kicking over a 650 could be a challenge, been bump starting it lately as my battery was fooked. Not fun.

MT-03 winter project completed
Nice job on the paint work, looks awesome and like two different bikes in one. Who done the paint work?

Stater motor issues DT125RE
The Hammer, aka the fix it tool. Hitting things always seems to do the job but my first thought was a dodge battery.

Yamaha DT125R 06 - HOW DO I MAKE IT FASTER?
The other thing that suprises me is they make the bike faster yet dont upgrade the brakes which on the r model are pretty cr@p if im honest.

Yamaha DT125R 06 - HOW DO I MAKE IT FASTER?
I doubt 100mph from a dt but i admit i had 85mph out of mine and being followed by a GS1200 whilst out in Wales with a few guys one summer, BUT to add to that it was highly strung and did seize... so yeah theres no hope of getting any higher unless your bore it out big time. It also took a fair time to get there to, i honestly can not see why you would bother after personal experience as it just felt temperamental and i was just waiting for it to go bang. Just wait and get a bigger bike its worth it

norton 360 antivirus software
Iv got it with windows 7, runs sweet as a nut and alot better than vista but is known to be power hungry.

Petrol Head Central
Im more of an American muscle guy to be honest would love an old Dodge Charger or Challenger. My dad used to have one pretty similar to this mach 1 Mustang 1971 but white and black. Used to drag race it at Santa Pod pretty heavy modified would get under 10secs AND drive it home again! My CCM which i just quickly turned the screen black in a sketchy photoshop pic. I like it

Number plate angle
Sounds sweet, im a bit of a single cylinder fan to be honest just love the thud they give out. Would die for a supermono 700 (rotax engine) sooo nice!
-
Number plate angle
OT: I tend to worry about the loudness before a number plate (straight through remus race can). Sounds really nice
-
Number plate angle
The drc edge 2 i recommended had a built in number plate light as well I done just over 14000miles with a plate 7x5 on my DT and have one the same size on the CCM, id just recommend not having a fancy font or border.

DT125R Electric starting issues
I used to use Castrol MTX 10w40 done over 14000miles with 3 or 4 changes and was fine, would definitely recommend it.

dtr125 plastics 2005 onwards
Just thought id add i bought a yz front fender pre drilled for my DT and it fitted straight on, no messing about. Also gives you a wider range of choice.

de-ristricting dt 125 x
If you adjust your gearing then your not going to improve top end and acceleration, its only one or the other im afraid. Id personally leave the sprockets alone.

DT125 RE Advice
But if you start messing with the tap filter pipes your going to mess up your tank range? Also if they are the same length then your not going to have a reserve at all.

Yamaha YZF-R125 with Power Commander 5
If your that bothered about top end just change your gearing. You'll lose acceleration though probably quite a bit on a little bike.

Which WR ???
I admit id honestly love one in white and black as they are really cool looking bikes and reliable, i just wish they were 400's to challenge the drz and the likes.
