Tzr 50 (am6) idles fine, doesn't rev high or clean
those am6,s are good little motors, i had a priller rx50 a couple of years ago derestricted it would pull me (no lightweight) at an indicated 50 mph on the flat , knowing italian instruments it was more like 40/45 and that was with the standard zorst, i had a powerpipe off a scrapper i got for spares but never fitted it

Clutch slipping - oil or springs?
have you bought new EBC plates, my mate paul had hisc RD clutch slipping after fitting new ebc plates, fitted new heavy duty springs , changed oil , still slipping, checked plates they where actuallly thinner than the old ones he took out, put old plates back in no slip , check the part numbers if they are the same numbers as the rd 250/400 , then you can fit xs 400 plates that have more friction area

Chain and Sproket and Other bearing.
sounds to me like you need a decent bike shop, from what you say i would imagine some muppet has overtightend the chain for you, I would not imagine you need any special tools but not being familiar with the YBR cannot be 100% sure, it is most probably the sprocket carrier bearing, hopefully at that price the dealer would have fitted original yamaha parts and no way they should have worn out in that time , personally if you have the receipt and the mileage is on it and you have not done very many miles since it was fitted etc, i would go to the dealer and ask to see someone above the service manager and say you are not happy with it, dont be aggresive just speak nicely to them, and se what they say.
