consolidated motor spares Netherlands they have all the parts lists online but i think after a quick search that part is NLA gimme the dimensions the RD 350 cap has a very similar number but not quite the same, i have stock of them coming this week i hope i can measure one and see if they are any good too you then Merv

Yes very interesting i would swant to get it back to hte correct date as well, I am not too sure about this you would need a dating certificate for sure, maybe contacting the VJMC would be the way forward here, I have some knowledge of registering foreign bikes but never dealt with redating them Merv

Join the aircooled rd club we are in the procees of getting to be DVLA approved for dating the RD,s, or you can get the dating letter from VJMC or ask yamha themselves if they vcan supply a letter with the date of manafacture hold on you say you have a V5, do you have a reg number?? in which case you are sorted, or if you have the original us documents they will prove the age of it i reckon merv

foamy WEMOTO £97 each stantion but having seen some of the forks from breakers it will be peace of mind to have new mike got some from a breaker for his bandit, lovely forks no pits but when he took apart to do the seals the stantions where like bananas,

Repair the VM26 for your £30 you will get quality parts to repair a quality carb, buying this unknown carb which will need jetting for sure could cost you loads of jets, as it will be trial and error to get the mixture right, and possibly a seized engine if you do not get it right, it will very likely need all the jets replacing which will cost you much more than the £30 outlay -
