Zoophile, a Pyromaniac, a Murderer, a Necrophiliac and a Sadomasochist are all sitting together in the lounge area of a Mental Institute... The Zoophile says, "I know, lets all shag the cat" The Pyromaniac says, "Lets shag the cat, then set it on fire" The Murderer says, "Lets shag the cat, set it alight, then break it's neck" The Necrophiliac says, "Lets shag the cat, set it alight, kill it, then shag it again" The Sadomasochist says, "Meow"

  11. Dont panic mr manwaring we have has this out many times on the RD forum semi synth contains mineral how else would it be semi synth? if it was going to gel it would do it in the bottle and you would not be able to use or even buy the stuff now when you get a problem is if you mix vegetable oil I:E castol R with a mineral oil, semi synth is great i have not oiled or whiskered a plug since using it, in the days of my fizzy i used to carry a pocket full of plugs and was able to change the plug in the dark, used to have a fag while the engine cooled too avoid burnt fingers, then change the plug, the engine is running hot. have you changed the exhaust , jets or anything? if not make sure the pump is working properly, running premix in the tank is a temp measure which may cause a weak mixture because the oil in the fuel will reduce the amount of petrol getting in and weaken the mixture, if you go down that road permanently and remove the oil injection system it would be wise to go up a jet size or two merv
  12. Ok your thin ring. oil control on a 2 stroke i dont think so. it is called an expander ring behind thickest ring in bottom groove, thinnest ring goes in the top groove, if your thick ring will go in the top groove then i would replace the piston and ring, as the ring grooves are worn in the piston and the ring will move up and down as the engine is running waering away even faster eventually slipping out breaking and ruining your bore, Merv

unleaded is fine the problem with unleaded comes from the valve seats wearing in 4 strokes, 2 strokes do not have valves so no problem, in fact most japanese engines since the mid seventies have been capable of running on unleaded merv

more aggro than it will ever be worth i reckon, you could drill the inlet for an injector but running the pump well i dont know, you could see if an eberspacher electric pump for a truck/bus night heater will pump 2 stroke oil but it may have no regulation, the injectors on 2 strokes are regulated by throttle opening. so you would end up with either too much oil at low revs coking up the engine or too litle at high revs causing a seizure, also a lot of people who tune 2 strokes remove the injector system and run premix, also you have the problem of fitting an oil tank. How much does your tank hold. 10 litres? measure enough oil too mix with 10 litres and keep it in a bottle somewhere on the bike too tip in when you refuel, , It is a shame the garages do not have 2 stroke pumps anymore, yuo just adjust the pump and squirt the correct amount of oil in, well i do know of one that does but it would be a long trip to orth devon to fill with fuel everytime mev
