Sure are but so are RS Turbos on good nick. That one in your photo looks sweet as a nut. I bought my Cossie for £7k, owned it for 5 years and part ex'd it against the R6 for just about the same value. Classics, absolute classics.

I'm going!!! Just thought I'd share that with you all. My mate's in the RAF and he's based out there for four months so we're gonna visit. Myself and two mates fly out there on Wednesday 5th April and come home on the Sunday night. The racing should be magic and apparently Doha (the city my mate's based which is home to Losail Circuit) is just like Dubai - party central! I cannot wait.

The insurance on an R6 would be enough to fund a small war. Have you thought about a Hornet or an SV650? Both great bikes, reasonable insurance groups (the SV's only group 9 or something) and they'll last you as long as you need them. The Hornet's also a very cool looking bike. I'd have mentioned the old Fazer as it's a great bike but it's fecking ugly.

27. However, I only got my bike a year ago and that would be when I started living, so technically I'm only 1.

I have the worlds most boring job (systems admin and development with SQL database query writing thrown in) but the money's ok. Actually seriously thinking of a career change before it gets too late (I'm 27 now). Either moving into web development (4 years of part time study ) or living the dream and becoming a bike mechanic - again, part time study but I'd need top pick up a few old bikes for the practical stuff, restore them probably. How much fun does that sound? Anyone know what the pay's like for a bike mechanic? Also, anyone done or know of any courses on this?
