i managed to get a yz250 rear mudgaurd on mine took a bit of nip and tuck fibreglass....but loosk the muts gives that look your after a big gap from the top of the wheel to the mudgaurd sort of pointing upwards looks sexy

may sound silly mate but check your tyres for a speedrating then try not go over it thats the last thing you want to happen whilst screaming take it easy. mike

hmm yer mine sounds exactly like yours put it up on a scissor stadn today to have a closer look and seen the seal wasnt sat in correctly im guessing its vibrated or shocked itself out slightly as the bottom was proud pushed it in properly using a punch and light taps on a hammer and got it seated nicely (this is the old seal btw) cleaned it up just to see if it leaks the rest of the oil in there....ordered a seal today so we will see what happens...good idea about the self tappers tho nice 1. do you think if i put the new seal on and put some sealant on the inner recessed hole just a tiny amount to hold the seal firmly? cheers OG

i no it shouldnt but it is... a local bike mech replaced it 6months ago..wonder if i put the new one in myself using some sealant whats behind the seal OG? is it a bearing or something? nope not using it in this weather il ruin the car instead cant put my beutiful bike through this! yerp guna sell it june but il prob have a bigger bike before that hopefully feb march time...

Hello just wondering if any one else has had there gear selector shaft seal leak on them? had it replaced before just went in the shed to see the bike as its all wrapped up for winter to see gear box oil on the floor and seal weeping just wondered if its a common fault or something...no big deal i surpose

Personaly the universal switch (also none as 20LB SLEDGE) works fairly well to turn them noisy bags of crap off...works quite well on the owners aswell puts them in a FAIRLY deep sleep.... good luck Goff

Hello people hope you are all well.. something weirds happening with my dt today im sure it first happened when i idicated i pulled away and relised the powervalve didnt come in flat revs then as i got a few miles down the road the powervalve came in i was doing 8K and opened like normal so i changed down and slowed down to see if it comes in at 6 thousand rpm like normal and it did but then my indicators were on solid (not flashing) and there was a real loud ticking buzzing coming from the neutral relay. stopped and started the bike same thing happened but from start up then it stopped and everything was fine then started again..any clues of what this could be? thanks mikey

id just change it anyway if your going to service it do it properly do the whole thing then you know its sound just for peice of mind really its simple enough shouldnt take you long and doesnt cost to much good luck

the engine oil is contained in the oil bottle as it is a 2stroke its few thru the pump so just empty the bottle (pull pipe off bottom funnel it away) then refil with fresh oil run it through taking out the air locks.. its not like a 4stroke holding its oil in the sump.

Dont live your life by statistics you cant if you did you wouldnt do anything...ride becuase you want to ride...not becuase the chances of crashing are low...if you want to do it then do it use all your sense to not crash if your switched on and alert then the stat is ur enjoy your riding and your be lucky
