 Hi guys , newbie to this forum so hello to all !

I have an intresting quest which i hope some intelligent member out there will be able to solve for me . Basically i have bought some old DT175MX parts and have a frame with a clearly readible vin number but need to find out the reg number . I have tried registering with dvla at £19 but that all came back saying they need a registration plate number . Does anyone know how i can find out the original reg no ? Also the best place to get spares (NOS) apart from ebay

cheers jim :)

Unless you can strike lucky and find an old log book or someone who knew the reg it will be very difficult to get the original reg number, the best bet is to get a dating certificate from the VJMC or yamaha then you will be issued with an age related plate

look on the VJMC website for miore details
