Finally finished my 1978 XS1100, some before and after pictures 

Since you've not said, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Dark Red suits it much better than the White! (although, knowing my luck, the White is the new colour! lol)

The red is the new colour!!! It was on the inside of one of the side panels so got quite a good match, not sure if it’s the original Macho Maroon but pleased with the finish
