jcr
i try to make the most of any good weather, you never know when it will come to an end in England! 22 hours ago, blackhat250 said: Same here, did 380 miles last weekend,, not going out this one, ,as tourists a plenty , this is why i go out early in the mornings. im usually up between 5 and 6am, so i can get a 2 or 3 good hours in before the roads start filling up. and by then my old joints are usually ready to call it a day anyway 10 hours ago, Snakebite68 said: THUNDERACE!!! Moderator drewpy Posted July 22, 2021 Moderator Share Posted July 22, 2021 went out with a mate to Southport carousel Took it really easy as too warm and the car drivers just CBA driving sensibly. Avoided a few situations if I'd been a bit faster. Lots of harvesters and tractors out too ATM

Lots of harvesters and tractors out too ATM i go out after 7:30pm to avoid traffic, or before 9:30am on weekend mornings. taking it easy preserves your licence and allows you to enjoy the scenery my last ride i decided to treat the bike to some salt air. stopped at Barton on sea to enjoy the view across the Solent to the isle if Wight. the car parks had cleared out a lot by the time i got there. its always nice to avoid other people when your a miserable old git like me
jcr
my last jaunt found me leaving the A/B roads and exploring some country lanes. one of the great things about biking in the UK, is all the lovely places waiting to be discovered once you leave the beaten track. passed through a scenic little village called Wherwell at one point. my pics dont do it justice-
