Have just bought my first bike that's not a scooter and first bike in many years. Went for an xvs 125.

Looking forward to reading through the forum for info on these bikes

Ha Ha ?? Dutchy, brill.
It's just that being in the RN and going on holiday with the sprogs I didn't frequent the other places that you mentioned. But how I omitted Plymouth and Dartmouth I don't know. Maybe I'm thinking of the South Coast and not the South West Coast.

Falmouth ..... certainly!  Pubs, pubs, pubs, eateries, Maritime Museum, Pendennis Point/Castle,  day on the local Ferries to St.Mawes and/or up the Fal River to Truro and back, ......... did I mention pubs ?

Edit: and plenty of grey RFA boats in the docks incl. the new supply tankers.

From Eastleigh (right next to Southampton airport)

Loving the bike so far, been great weather too!

Believe it or not Dutchy, I have never been to Eastleigh, If my memory serves me right that's where the bootnecks are based.
Also, I have never been to Southampton (Merchant rather than Royal)
