Posted June 14, 20186 yr Hi,      Hello to all you bikers from David.  I had a Yamaha XS 750SE long ago and after endlessly checking out different bikes, I've bought an XJ 900 S from 1996.  Reviews said it was slow,but that might be by modern standards. It's way faster than what I used to ride.             At the moment ,I'm only using it on a private road to get used to it. At speed, it's fine ,but it feels very heavy when pottering along slowly. Better safe than sorry though.  I look forward to going for a spin on a nice sunny day.               Happy biking all.                         David.
