Awoke the FJ yesterday from her slumber in the garage to take to work and drop off at the MOT shop on the way back for MOT today.

To my current place of work is 31 miles with 20 miles of dual carriage way in between.

The feelings goooooooooood

Nice one mate, got the FJR booked in for next week can't wait to get out there again.

Went for my first ride out on my Thunderace that I swore to my wife I wasn't going to ride but only wanted to tinker about with....  Things have changed a bit in 30 years :)

In the late 80's I always wanted an FJ

In the late 80's I wanted a TDR250, had one for the last 5 years.

Now have an issue, I also wanted a Vmax.

There may be a change in the wind, boss dependant ofc they are not cheap. Except the cheap ones and they will bankrupt you.

Agree. I always wanted a Triumph Bonnie, an xs1100 and an xt500......I've owned a couple of Bonnies (only because the 1st was stolen.....Bastards....or I would still have that one) an xs11 which lived up to my expectations (including the rubber frame, ah 70s handling!!) but never the xt500....maybe one day

So did I .......... took me until 4 years ago to finally bag one ... LOL

I have owned and ridden many different types of bikes over the years (passed my test in 1979) but these big bikes make is so effortless, I was really torn between the FJR1300 and the ST1300, if I could have afforded the newer FJR then that would have been the choice but the Honda just pipped the older FJR to the post on test rides.
