Hi I've just started restoration on a dt 50 1986 all I've  got to go on is the frame number. All I managed to find out is age n that its not stolen. How do i go about getting a log book? And where can i find original parts?  Thanks.

Yeh i have says to insure and mot it but surely i need number plates for that? 

You can insure it on a frame number, then MOT it on frame number, then get an age related plate.
