I'm a boring fuck, I've never given any bike a name or a gender. "This bike" or "that bike" is about the most they'll get

Yes, I have been known to let my imagination run wild.....................*

* No I haven't. The most imaginative I've been is putting a painting on my bike (and it has been the same painting since 1981)

I'm a dry biker (sue me!) saw a guy yesterday on the M4 and it was pissing down with rain and there was fog from the water being chucked up he looked like a wet rag, I would have traded places with him in an instant rather than sit in traffic but had to take my Mum shopping so needed the car

Quite honestly Slicey, I'm becoming a dry biker now. Came back from Hungerford on the M4 on Boxing day 2017 to Chippenham and it was torrential and pitch black. I didn't know whether to come back on the A4 with visor open/part open or the M4 and stay in the slow lane, I chose the M4 slow lane which was ok at 60mph but worried about unseen floods on nearside lanes and spray from idiots overtaking and cutting in without indicating. When I did eventually get back home I was soaked to the skin albeit wearing full leathers, missus (bless her) had to strip me right off in the hallway.

Also had the same problem in 2016 coming back from Newbury on the M4.
