Hello dear members,

I'm busy with the  restoration of a Yamaha YA6 125cc 2 stroke autolube from '64.

After changing some bearing, o-rings, gaskets and seals the engine is almost done now.

Only thing left to do is putting new transmission oil in and start her up.

The problem is, I can't find the right amount of oil and wich is best to use.

Greetings,

Lars

does it not say the capacity on the casing near the filler cap, is there no dipstick?, I'm sure you can put any motorcycle engine oil in the transmission, it wont matter a jot which you choose, 10w40 ?

My thought was the same for the motoroil, there's no dipstick.

Can't find the capacity on the engine.

Think 1/2 ltr will be enough. But not sure....
