Yeh jim "  a real horror story the big XS,   It just didn't perform,  mate had 1 in 1978,  it locked the rear wheel downchanging mid corner,

scary.  we"d never seen a shaft before,   the Suzuki GT750 was way quicker .  laughed at an article in practical sports bike Mag. few years back , Dino day,  guys XS750  put out a mear 38bhp. :D

38bhp? can't be right :o

Yip,  in practical S.B,  last year,   it highlighted the fact,  it said  ! "   biggest disappointment of the day,  was the guy with the XS750,  .

They were only 67bhp on the sales pamphlet . and you know the company always exaggerate to boost sales. :rolleyes:

 

Like the Z650 was spouted to be quicker than the outgoing 2 stroke,H2-750  IN 1976  .  it was 10bhp less &  25kg heavier,   I think they thought we couldn't count back then , :fingerwave:
