Hi,

Im New here and was wondering if someone could help yesterday I asked a garage for transmission oil for my yamaha tzr 50 and she said the best for my bike is motel 2t 710 is this correct or is that oil just for premix? If it's not correct does anyone know what the best oil is? Thanks in advance.

Sorry to tell you but someone was taking the piss, 710 is OIL spelled backwards !!!

Hope that helps.

It might be an idea to also do an INTRO in new members section just to say hello.

PS and yes 2T is the fuel oil NOT engine/gear oil.

Motul 710 is actually a 2 stroke oil as you say  , but Slice it does exist , no do not put it in the gearbox/transmission
