Hi, new member to this site, found on Google, recently bought my first bike to learn to ride and learn how to work on. I need some help with the headlight though please. When I switch the ignition on the headlight comes on and I can't switch it off. I bought the bike from someone who came off it, the bars on the side where the headlight switch is located took the main impact so I'm beginning to think the actual switch might be at fault. Could anybody tell me, before I go buying a new switch, whether the switch has an actual off position?? The one on my bike is the standard rocker switch but only seems to have 2 positions, sidelight on and main beam on, could anybody tell me how the lights switch off completely?? Thanks very much

More of a workshop question than a hello!

New bikes turn the lights on automatically. Daylight running laws, so there may be no off switch. Depends on the year.

Lights are on permanently on the YBR.

As she says, :yeah:,,,, on modern bikes anyway,,, welcome,,,,,,, :fish:

Greetings
