jimbotipler Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Just to say hello. Mid life crisis new biker here:-) Did my CBT back in October abd found a used tw125 a few weeks later. Really pleased with it. Seems a great, solid little 125, although I will change the knobbly tyre before too long!
Moderator Airhead Posted December 28, 2014 Moderator Posted December 28, 2014 Great stuff Jim, welcome in fella
Moderator DirtyDT Posted December 28, 2014 Moderator Posted December 28, 2014 Hi and welcome to the forum.
blackhat250 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Hi jim " I"v ridden the TW , and them fat tyres make it hard "to turn in," on corners,,,it was on knobblies too.
jimbotipler Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 Ah that makes sense. Wondered why I was struggling a little at roundabouts!
jimbotipler Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 Thanks for the warm welcome. I really don't know why some people have a downer on the little TW125s. I think it's kinda cool, looks better than the Suzi Van Van in my very humble opinion, and it's pretty solid. It gets up to 50 with ease (struggles to stay there I spose). However I'm over 6ft and it's much more comfortable than a YBR while I'm still on the L plates and ideal for commuting.
Moderator DirtyDT Posted December 30, 2014 Moderator Posted December 30, 2014 Never ridden one but I like them. I have been watching this one at the moment LINKY I am going to try not to bid though!
blackhat250 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 My mate rode his round Isle of Man this year, we had some great races[ over the mountain] DT-TS-TW, ">http://http://s1110.photobucket.com/user/Blackhat750/media/P1000482.jpg.html'>
