I use wax oil for things like that plus under Chrome bits.

Ill have to transfer pics to here soon. I ve had the frame, swingarm and side stand blasted and powdercoated and it looks great! I finally picked up a decent tank from the US via ebay last week.

next will be the dismantling of the engine...that will be a chore!!
