James Carroll Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I went to the tops around bolton yesterday with a m8 and i only got around 55mph (maybe a bit more downhill my m8 could get 65 out of his suzuki) ive looked around on many sites the say the ybr can do 65-70 anyone know why it only does 55
Noise Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 is that an M8 bolt or nut? How heavy are you? im not chatting you up or trying to find out what size cloths you wear its just if your 45st then the bike wont be as fast. Has the bike been serviced?
James Carroll Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 Sorry that ment to say mate used to slang txtin lol am 13st it got serviced at 4000 only done 700 after that
Moderator DirtyDT Posted June 16, 2014 Moderator Posted June 16, 2014 Properly serviced? Is the gearing standard (sprockets)? Try to get it more revs before you get into top gear.
Noise Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Ring its neck before changing gear and then see what you get then, (dont bounce off the limiter tho) but with being a 125 they take a bit of motervating. But also remember it is only a 125 and not built like an aprillia 50cc that can do 110mph. 60-70 is normally max your get out of it.
paulrever Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 On a flat with no wind mine does 70 -75mph, wheels aren't balanced and shakes so much it's not enjoyable.
