Hello Guys

I can feel a knocking through my left side foot pedal when my bike is moving. I've got a feeling it might be my drive chain as it has a seized link, I've got new chain and sprocket....just waiting for some decent weather to fit. If it is not the drive chain, does anyone have an idea what else it might be? Any help would be much appreciated.

It will be the link. i have one on my DT ,,and it thumps wen i push it round the garage,,, , How many miles on the engine,,,

it's done just over 12500 miles. I did give the chain a good lube and the knocking disappeared for a while.

Thanks blackchat250. All I need now is a good day of dry weather so I can fit new chain and sprockets, here's hoping.

Change it ASAP, other people on here have had chains give on the move with disasterous results, additional mechanical damage

Will do. Hopefully i'll be doing on Thursday, weather permitting. Thank you for the help, much appreciated.

Easier to change the chain and sprocket than ruin bearings or do some serious damage. Get it done or you could rue delaying it.
