December 1, 201311 yr that's a good link. have repaired plastics like that before. but I added some fibreglass I=on the inside as extra strength. post some pics of your fairng for us to look at. and it may be cheaper to get replacement panels rather than a pro repair....
December 18, 201311 yr Hi, Just read this post and thought of this YouTube ke104 repair your motorcycle skin with Lego I saw it recently seems simple enough, and strong. Regards

December 28, 201311 yr Anyone no anywhere that will do fairing repairs in Newcastle upon Tyne if your panel is already broken. what have you got to lose?
December 29, 201311 yr Nice link Jimmy been doing this for years but never thought to write it down (DOH!)
December 30, 201311 yr Yup, same thing I did...soldering iron and zip ties! I heard ABS pipe works well too...or you can also use acetone to melt the ABS together. Another tip is to fill a jar with some ABS pipe shavings and some acetone so it makes a runny paste and then put that in the crack after you notch it into a v-shape. I need to re-do some of my fix-up jobs though, didn't use enough heat to melt the zip ties, and then I made the mistake of using spot putty on the outside, which cracked.
