lauragilmour Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I'm facing a slight seat dilemma, the more I stare at the sr seat the more I want to burn it, just so horrible like who would design such a thing?! Basically I'm looking for a seat a bit like Thin and just like this, simple plain black, cheap too hopefully, can anyone direct me in the right place? Don't know how long I can last with the current seat ugh!! I've already had a brief look and can't seem to find much! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jimmy Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Try making your own. Go to a breakers yard pick up some seat leather and some foam, then shape a bit of aluminium or mild steel and away you go
lauragilmour Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 Would probably turn out horrendous but I guess it might be worth a go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Noise Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Im supprised foamy aint made a comment on how you could put a photo of his face on your seat too 1
Ttaskmaster Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Or even use the existing seat base - Just add some better foam and re-cover it. There are professional places that re-upholster seats to your requirements. There used to be one round here somewhere... I'll check around.
Moderator drewpy Posted November 18, 2013 Moderator Posted November 18, 2013 you would need to shape the rear frame for a seat like that. You will have to relocated all the electrics, smaller battery and then make a hoop for the rear and get it welded on. can't do one thing without changing something else I'm afraid. that actual seat bit is the easiest
