December 9, 201311 yr A few bike have different brake pads fitted to the abs version, sometimes cost a lot more. Minor detail but might be worth checking... so yeh its just down to how much you want those wheels? I wouldn't want to mess around too much with trying to disable the abs and all that, I can just imagine it messing up something expensive. Im guessing the wheels just have nowhere to mount the abs rings yeh?
December 10, 201311 yr Author yeah, thats the issue , the spoked wheel hubs have no provision for the abs sensors. i have decided to go with a standard model. So at least i have the option of fitting the wheels in the future.
