Hi All,

My FZ16 is making rhythmic noise for some months. I got it oiled fearing a dry chain and it got subdued for some time but yesterday the wheels started locking. Even in neutral rolling the bike the rear wheel was getting stuck and I had to force it to roll.

The bike is 4 years old.

around 25000Kms

Never changed chain kit

Best to get your finger out and change the chain and sprokets, after that if its still doing the same then its onto changing the wheel bearings.

Best getting these done soon as do you really want a rear wheel lock up at 70-80mph (110-130KPH)?

yes a new chain ans sprockets and check out all the wheel bearings and the rear sprocket carrier (if it has one)

probably a daft Question (but why change the habit of a lifetime) have you checked your chains tension it may be to tight although if you've been riding on it like that for a few months you'll need new chain & sprockets anyway
