dt 125 wiring. what goes were?!

Hi everyone! I was hoping for some help if anyone knows about the wiring on a dt?

im trying to wire up my brake light, but dont know what wires to plug into it! Also need to know which wires go into the indicators.

I have some photos of the wires. Sorry if there not good quality, ive had to upload on my phone.

this is earlier in the loom, can see all the wires before they seperate.

As you can tell i dont have the slightest clue wht im doing! I always end up with a shock or blowing a bulb lol

if anyone can help id really apreciate it, i bought this project as a pile of parts and im close to getting rid of it

Hi Oliver, well like most things electrical you need a DIAGRAM, it's not really possible to say exactly what you need to do unless you can either visualise the thing or follow the drawing, it's quite easy to show you how to wire up the brake light but near bloody impossible to tell you over the internet without spending 2 hours describing what you need to do which would really only be a vague description at best, get a manual off ebay or such and that way you will know what goes where, a few quid spent on the right book can save you hours of frustration and blown fuses. If you don't have the slightest clue how to do most of this then mate your in for a really frustrating time, it's not something that just happens you have to learn how first, sorry to be negative but just picking other peoples brains wont cut it.

For the brake

Look at the rear brake switch. There be 2 wires. See which one is live with the brake switch off. The other should be live with the switch on. Use a multimeter to test this. The wire that is not live with the switch off is the one that should go to the rear of the bike. Check the colour of this wire and find it at the rear of the bike. Use the multimeter again to test this is live with the switch on. This then connects to the rear light. The rear light fitting should have 2 wires, the other one is the earth. If you don't have a live to the rear brake switch then you need to sort this first.

Cheers for the replys. Ive found what all the wires are for, just need to put new bullet connectors on on the indicators an its done
