new with tzr 50

im from Suffolk in the united kindom done a full nut and bolt restorating everything but the the engine it has uprated crank, 80cc bore kit, 28mm carb with race reed valve and air filter,

I was wondering if anybody could help me with a few questions ( im not a mechanically minded person )

Because of the carb the fuel is pre mixed with two stroke

The oil pump requires a blanking plate, but the thats where the retract is for the throttle?

Il turn the fuel on and the carb will overflow and start leaking petrol, ive checked and the floats arnt getting stuck, ( may that have something to do with the throttle?)

And the gear shift is very stiff regardless of doing it with your foot or using the lever on the engine with your hand is there anyway to loosen it? Sorry to ask so many questions im just so stuck

Welcome george " :jossun: the float Valve will be worn, or crap in it,, take it out and inspect... Stiff gear change, :eusa_think: , is this wen oil is hot or cold,,,,you may want to post this queery to workshop. ,, :eusa_whistle:

Hi and welcome to the forum.

As Blackhat said, start a thread in the workshop section. You will need to add a little detail like:

What the carb is

Does it have to be premixed as there is no oil feed to the carb

What a "retract" is

More info on the stiff lever
