sounds like what you might be describing? but it says for 96-02. have a look at the specifications, they might help you figure out what bulb you need?

sorry i couldn't be more help :eusa_think:

ahh just noticed you said its not H4, hmmm.

In that case i don't have a fucking clue i'm afraid

and this is the pic of the exact one i bought http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Yamaha-SR125-Head-Lamp-Bulb-Holder-/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/$T2eC16NHJG8E9nyfmYkKBQ8DlN7s4w~~60_35.JPG

ill take a proper pic in a bit showing the inside / fitting

I think Benedictine on here has had to change his bulb recently and he's got an early 90's SR. I've not had to change that one yet!

LINKY1 - I don't think it is this type. But just in case.

They come in both 6v and 12v so make sure you got the right ones. A simpler fix is to get a patten headlight that takes a H4 bub. These are available in 6v and 12v too. All you need to do is get the right size and be able to do a little, simple, wiring.
