Moderator DirtyDT Posted May 1, 2013 Moderator Share Posted May 1, 2013 All those 2 stroke lovers out there with "wet" air filters. Do you prefer a soak and squeeze in 2 stroke oil, a spray with aerosol filter spray or something else? Thanks.
NEV
Bit of a soak and squeeze man myself Dirty, and yes K&N do a filter oil, but it's an unnesessary expense in my opinion. 2 stroke oil's just as good, I reckon mate.
NEV
Some 2 stroke oil in an old kitchen cleaner spray bottle, that's been cleaned out, usually does the trick.
Moderator DirtyDT Posted May 1, 2013 Author Moderator Share Posted May 1, 2013 Cheers Nev. Always been a pour and squeeze man myself but when I got the TS I brought a tin of filter oil and used that. It is really thick though and don't know if the bike is struggling to suck air. I have just changed the foam and gone back to the pour and squeeze. Will see how it goes. Also got some closed cell foam for the airbox seal while I was at it.
