Hi all,

New to the forums, just doing the right thing and posting a quick hello to introduce myself. I'm an almost-40-year-old Aussie (don't let that get to you) who's been riding for just under a year. Just picked up a VStar 650 a couple of weeks ago and since that makes me a Yamaha owner, I thought I should probably join here and see what's the go.

Cheers!

G'day Gobberwart...what does that mean :eusa_think:

lovin the avatar :hyper:

Cheers. A mate told me that dog looks pretty much exactly like me so... there it is. I can't play drums though :(

"Gobberwart" comes from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - it's a random word from Vogon poetry that I picked up years ago because it's pretty unique. The poetry in question is:

"Oh freddled gruntbuggly/thy micturations are to me/As plurdled gabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee.

Groop I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes. And hooptiously drangle me with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon, see if I don't!"
What exactly are "gobberwarts" then? I dunno, but it sounds painful :D

Especially not with a 'blurglecruncheon'. The thought makes the eyes water.
