Yamaha sold the 500 with two different colors that year(black and brown) so, how can I find out what is the original color that my bike came from the factory?

You may need to refer to the preface to get the colour codes. If they aren't there let me know as I have a Yamaha code book. (i'll need the exact year of manufacture and colour option)
