Posted February 14, 201312 yr can anyone help got a 1981 XT250 cant get head light to work. need a wiring diagram if anybody knows where I can get hold of one. cheers also cant remember if the H/LGHT only works with engine running.

February 14, 201312 yr Yes " it be 6 volt system, needs engine for headlight,, best wiring diagrams are , Kojacat ,,, coloured and a baby can read them,,
February 14, 201312 yr Seem to remember the XT250 was only a 6 volt system so lights only worked with engine running. Does the ignition switch have just an on/off position or is there a position you turn to for the lights or is there a on/off switch on the LH handlebar switch.
