I've just recently reapplied ACF-50 to my bike and have decided to clean it every Sunday. After I have washed my bike do I need to reapply ACF-50 again, or after every time I wash it?

Cheers

I know of adventure bike riders that say they just rinse the worst of the mud off with cold water hose (not high pressure) and then give it a good clean every few months and reaply

I suppose a tin will still last a while because I apply it With a n 1/2 inch paintbrush. A little bit goes a long way.

You shouldn't need to re-apply every time unless you are using a detergent just rinse off the dirt.

+1 : Given current weather, I hose off the crap after a ride and don't bother with cleaning / reapplying ACF.

Then do a proper bike clean every 2/3 weeks with re-applying the ACF-50 then.

The guys on the V-Strom forum I visit are starting to use these guys http://www.allyearbiker.co.uk/ to come and apply ACF-50 to their bikes. Not used myself, but they have some good hints and tips on cleaning bike and applying ACF-50

As above I only reapply if I use a detergent to wash the bike as the detergent will remove the ACF50 quicker than plain water, if its a quick ride out and it needs a quick wash down, I just hose of with water, no soap.
