hi all ,have any of you changed the stock mikunibds26 on the xv125 engine?

is there an alternative carb that can be used?

does anyone have a mikuni bds26 for sale?

mine has died any help would be great.

the bike is a sachs roadster but uses xv125 engine.

I read somewhere that the 125 and 250 xv carbs were the same. Not sure if it is true. There are quite a few 250 pattern carbs about.

Cant you overhaul the carb, might be a lot more cost effective.

As for another carb, cant help with the question but:

XV250 carb part no 2UJ-14900-01-00

XVS125 carb part no 5JX-14901-00-00

XV125 carb part no 4RF-14901-00-00

Now then, I know that some of the chaps here can decipher these part nos, and anyone of them might be able to say whetther these are the same carb or not
