Hello, I am a 17 year old male and I am about to buy a Yamaha yzf r125. I have been saving and I decided to buy a bike because I heard the insurance is much cheaper than a car. Roughly, how much would it be a year for me to insure this bike???

Theres quite a few criterias which will make guessing an amount hard to do, such as area.

The question can't be answered on here due to the amount of information required. I would also look at comparison sites to get some indication of cost. Insurers will use a variety of information to give you a quote. This will include:

Your post code

Any bile security

If the bike is garaged

If you have any adverse driving history

What level of cover you wanted (TPO, TPFT, fully comp)

Bike value

Plus loads more.
