hi

I bought a 2008 Yamaha TZR 50cc motorbike and just wondering wht top speed it would do?

The bike is tune, modificatons are :

90cc Big Bore Kit(owerbands in every gear)

Bigger Piston

Bigger Barrel

Racing Head

Arrow Power Pipe

i was told the bike is capable of 85-90mph?

Just wondering is this right?

Also the bike got very slow at starting then didnt start atol but when i bump started it,it started

at first i thought it was the battery now i am lead to believe is it the starter motor?

If anyone could help i would apprectiate it! :)

i some how doubt 90mph..
i think more like 50-65Mph just going from the CC of the barrel though.

difficulty starting could be a lot of things. and with the engine work done to it it could be a compression issue, seals. mixture..

but i cant speculate on that really to many variables..

any way not a expert on any of this so maybe some one will come in and correct me

60mph, 65mph downhill.

trouble starting? crank seals, its dead, throw it in the bin and get another one

Lol that bike may possibly go that fast with a lot of expensive quality tuning.

Race prepared 125 can hit 130mph. I wouldn't want to ride it on a road or maintain it.

Unless you have a feww hundred quid to waste you want to learn an awful lot awful fast or the only thing that engine will do is go bang.

Oh and coppers aint that stupid. A 50 doing 50 gets them having a batfit (been there) god knows what 80 would get you. I'd pack some vaseline.... .

wild foamy- i dont think i will bin the bike anytime soon.

it turned out that the bike just needed a new starter motor!

as for the speed of the bike i had it clocked today at 90mph.

anyway; thanks for the comments :)

I had an 80cc alongside me at those speeds at squires.

Stripped out, tuned up track weapon that was i believe an rd80. Not sure on the last bit.

It seemed very , flat out to ride but! Well it did 90 or more with me.
