Grover
What age are you grover. Heres the link to the changes https://www.gov.uk/browse/driving/learning-to-drive scroll down to motorcycle practical test. Go to sect 8 and its all there. Bummer about not getting a test date. As I said earlier, there must be a rush on. My boy had to wait 6 weeks from mod 1 to mod 2. He failed that and cant get another date until 11th December your link doesnt make much sense... can i still ride with just a CBT? or do i need to get a mod 2 finished ASAP? Grover
ok, so: can a 19 year old with a CBT and pre january Mod 1 still ride a 125 with the same restrictions that he currently abides by? and will by current mod 1 certificate still count for a post january mod 2? jimmy
Ok mate, as I see it:- You are over 17 and passed your Mod 1 on an A1 Motorcycle before 19/01/2013 so if you sit your test after that date you will sit it on an A1 bike, basically it will be be a solo motorcycle be between 120cc and 125cc be no more than 11kW engine power be capable of at least 55mph There are restrictions to the size of bike you can use after passing your test, but I cant remember offhand......I will seek it out
