Hi, I have a 2006 XT125X and I may need a new engine, what alternative engines would fit in without any problems? Just want to know so that I can widen my search on eBay etc?

Any if you have enough money and know someone handy with a welder. Realistically you are better sticking to an original type engine.

I thought there was several engines that slot perfectly into this frame without any work, that is what I am looking for, engines that fit into this without messing around any.

TTR125? if so theyre standard fitted to the Rieju sm/rx also

Doesnt the XT and YBR share the same workshop manual (Haynes)

Yes they are the same engine.

If your putting a new engine in, there's no point unless it's at least a 250cc going in. :biggrinbounce:

On a 2006 you could cross over....... Go smoken...dump the doorstop and have some proper power. 2 stroke....

Something from a dt.....200 maybe. Need work but hey you asked.
