mcfly
Hi, my girlfriend bought a ybr125 and started getting the revs rising when under load, so I changed the clutch. Bike is all back together now and the clutch works as it should but now the kick start will not work. I think that a spring has become unseated as the lever is constantly moving left and not staying sprung in the right hand postition. Is it just a simple case of taking the clutch cover off and locating where the spring sits, or do I have to tension it or something? Thank you
Moderator DirtyDT Posted October 20, 2012 Moderator Share Posted October 20, 2012 The kick starter return spring needs to be under a little tension and there is a locating hole that one end of the spring sits in.
mcfly
Yeah I got the locating hole on the front which the sping sits it, but I imagine there is one at the back? Haynes said I need to remove the clutch basket, I hope it does not come to that. Cheers
