Hi Guys, I've got a 31 year old TY175 which runs on mineral two stroke oil on the standard autolube system - the book says its about a 30:1 mix ratio.

Does anyone know if I can swap over to fully synthetic oil on a leaner mix without harming the engine? I believe the oil/petrol ratio is adjusted by re shimming the pump?

by all means run on whatever oil you like but leave the shimming as it should be you cannot adjust the pump output Jim
