Posted July 4, 201213 yr Hello again everyone, i'm swapping my bike for a road legal yz125 & 350 cash but i need to know if my insurance would swap it over from my current bike to the bike i'll be getting as i cant afford to payup again just cause i got another bike, ifso do they charge for swapping it over?
July 4, 201213 yr Yer most will swap and yes there will be an administration charge usually !and the new bike policy may be more expensive so you will have to pay the difference on that too... I swapped my insurance from a ybr to a varadero and i think it was about £80 extra for like3 months of policy left but i need to get my first years no claims so had to bite the bulllit and pay. hope this helps
July 4, 201213 yr My insurer (Hastings Direct) wouldn't let me switch from the SR 50 to my TDR 125 and stated that I needed 2 years NCD before they could insure me!! Claimed back some of the money and took my business elsewhere.
