Well im from bonny scotland and have just bought myself a nice wee 1992 xj600. I also have a K8 gsxr600. Im hoping to learn alot from this site with my xj as im not to used to the older school bikes (been spoiled with tech). I love the wee xj already though and looking forward to the day i get the mot on her. Well guys hope you's lot can help and im sure you can and if i can be of any help i will put my twobobs worth in. My names Callum from Manchester and im restoring my 1989 yamaha yb100 im new to motorbikes but a car mechanic by trade. i brought my yb100 in chorley in november last year as a project for the summer but now i have a problem its was runing but it just cut out and wont start again iv replaced the spark plug and ignition coil points and condenser but im still not getting a spark i tested the voltage coming from the source coil in the flywheel magneto and im only getting 0.2v.
